A pattern is evidence. A memory isn’t.
rippedoffworker helps the workers you support keep a dated record of their hours, pay and what happened at work — built as it happens, rather than reconstructed months later. It is for workers in the United States only.
Four pay types
Hourly, salaried, gig and commission work
English and Spanish
Every screen inside the app, and the phone screens too
$59 once
Covers every job the worker holds — no subscription
A shorted paycheck once might be a mistake. A few of them over three months is a pattern — and without a record, there is no way to tell which one it was.
Logged the day it happens — the hours, the rate, the reason — it is a record. Three months later with nothing written down it is a memory: maybe right, maybe not quite, with nothing to point to. Whether that record exists is often the biggest thing standing between what happened and what can be shown.
Three steps, kept entirely in their hands
- 01
They log it
Right after a shift, a pay stub, or something that felt off — on their phone, in English or Spanish.
- 02
It adds up
rippedoffworker sets what they logged against what they were paid, period by period, job by job. Where a figure cannot be worked out it says so rather than guessing.
- 03
They hold it
The record is theirs. They can print the document or download it and bring it to you. Nothing goes to anyone unless the worker sends it themselves.
Look at the whole thing first
Both of these are open — no account, no card, nothing to sign up for.
The working app
A sample worker’s record already in it, every screen, all four pay types. It is the real app in read-only.
The document a worker ends up with
Four of them, one for each pay type, printed from sample records. This is what a worker would bring you.
One purchase. No subscription.
Covers every job the worker holds — hourly, salaried, gig or commission — for as long as they keep logging. US only. rippedoffworker is built for workers in the United States.
A worker can work through their first four pay periods before buying, so there is time to see whether it is worth carrying on.
What rippedoffworker does not do
- It never contacts anyone’s employer. Nobody is told a record exists.
- It does not give legal advice, and it does not tell anyone whether they have a claim.
- It does not file anything with any agency.
- It holds no rules about any state’s law and teaches none. It shows the arithmetic on the worker’s own figures and says where something does not line up. Whether they are right, and what follows, is for you, an attorney or the agency to say.
Workers decide what gets logged. A record is private to the worker’s own account, is never sold, and is never shared with anyone outside the services needed to run it.
